Hebden Bridge – Trades Club – CARLTON MELTON + Dead Sea Apes – Sunday 21st October 2012

“guaranteed to smoke your psychic pole down to the very root and microwave your melted plastic mind to boot” – Julian Cope
“blissful hazy-days feedback” Vice
“lysergic trails of cumulonimbus feedback” Mojo
“psychedelia at its most expansive and exquisite” Kerrang

From the ashes of Sub Pop favourites Zen Guerrilla and the smoke of California grass comes psychedelic rock gods Carlton Melton. A slow, fuzzed-out, blissful psychedelic rock experience quite unlike anything else out there now or before. Their new album “Photos Of Photos” teams them up Monster Magnet/Wellwater Conspriacy guitar hero John McBain. In support of this, they are embarking on their first UK tour which sees them play not only Hebden Bridge but also the Supersonic Festival.

In support we have something very special that we can’t tell you about and Dead Sea Apes. Dead Sea Apes are a Manchester band who’ve gigged with Damo Suzuki, covered Kraftwerk for the prestigious Fruits Der Mer label. Hard rocking psychedelic wonderment.

Tickets £9/£7 from the venue, Jumbo Records and online from We Got Tickets. As uusual, the show will end in time for last trains to Leeds & Manchester.
