Those crazy little burrowing owls, hopping around and nesting underground are really quite a sight. I’ve been privileged enough to see one here in the wild in Phoenix but it was worrying to see the little guy in an urban area.
So it was a huge relief to hear about Audabon’s project to create special environments for the burrowing owls of Pheonix. You can read more about the project here.
