Some of you social networkers may have become friends, aquaintances, followers or even family of Was ist Das? over on Google+
Well, not any more. We read how Google+ operates a real name policy. Going by the name Was Ist Das? over there would be in breach of that policy and would risk suspension of the account and our associated e-mail address.
As that e-mail address is one we use all the time, it seems best to pull the plug on our Google+ account rather than risk losing an important e-mail address. Google+ say they’ll start allowing companies on at some point in the future and when that happens we’ll hop back in.
Well, thanks to an endless bombardment of twat accounts trying to sign up to the forum, I’ve had to freeze registration.
If you want to join the forum, then you’ll have to post here first requesting to join and then I will temporarily unfreeze registration to let you in.
Do you remember the days when myspace used to work properly and wasn’t remodelled into a total piece of shit? Back in those days, you could easily keep tabs on Neil Campbell via his own myspace page but as that site degenerates into a sea of adverts and unwanted new features, there’s the need for something else and damn me if google hasn’t just found me something else, he’s got himself his own website via the magic of wordpress:
saying goodbye to myspace
MV & EE have just posted a blog on their myspace site saying that they’re not going to post on there anymore and directing people to their new blog http://www.mvandee.blogspot.com/
for all future info.
As myspace becomes more and more difficult to use and increasingly rammed with enormous adverts, expect many more to be copying MV & EE’s actions. When I first relaunched this site, less than 2 years ago, myspace was still the main method of communication with the artists I play on the podcast but nowadays, everyone seems to be on facebook instead.
