Hebden Bridge – Upstairs @ Hole In T’Wall – SUZUKI JUNZO + RICK TOMLINSON – Wednesday 26th October 2011

Was Ist Das? is very pleased to be putting on our first ever event at The Hole In T’Wall in Hebden Bridge.

Playing our special little intimate Hebden show is psychedelic blues troubadour Suzuki Junzo. A member of the Acid Mothers Temple family, as well as being a prolific solo artist & the lead singer of Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Cosmic Blues Band, he also fronts Japanese psyche wonders Miminokoto whose latest album is out on Important Records and is in the duo 20 Guilders with Tabata Mitsuru of Zeni Geva and Acid Mothers Temple. He’ll be playing a solo show with his electric guitar.

However, that’s not all. As attendees of our recent Trades Club gig will know, we don’t do support by halves. For this gig, we’ve got Rick Tomlinson playing his first live solo set in absolutely ages. Rick is best known as the main driving force behind Voice of the Seven Woods/Thunders. Voice of the Seven Thunders recently returned to action after a long gap with the album “Blue Comet Remixes” which saw Andrew Liles let loose on the self-titled album with masterful results.
