Remember the old days of fanzines? Cobbled together with typewriters, photocopiers held together with staples and enthusiasm. They were rough and ready, cheap and cheerful, unprofessional and fun. That's the aim with this podcast.
No genre policy, just a craving for originality, exploration and a disregard for convention. Artists doing something new. The record shops that push those artists providing top 5s.
I have no high-tec studio for making the show. The links are recorded on an old minidisc recorder. The show is edited together on my doddery old PC using free software. This is D.I.Y. radio and any fool could make it.
It's a simple download of an mp3. You can play it on any computer. It will work with any mp3 player. It should play on most mobile phones made in the last 5 years. The aim is to keep the show roughly around the 1 hour mark so you can listen to it on a commute to work, on a short computer session or easily burn it to CD and play it on your hi-fi.
If that's not your bag, it's also availble to stream from our mixcloud page: http://www.mixcloud.com/wasistdas
Mixcloud seems to stream with no hassle on computers old and new.
If you want to contribute towards it anyway:
