Hitachino Nest are a range of European-inspired ales brewed in Japan, sometimes fusing techniques of the West with traditions of the East.
Unlike the wine I posted previously, I can comment on Hitachino Nest Beer because not only did I drink a few bottles when I was in the U.S., I also happened to post my thoughts on each one to my beer Twitter account.
Here is what I said:
Hitachino Nest – Espresso Stout.
Lovely beer more stout than espresso with a full body and a brave heart.
Hitachino Nest – Red Rice.
Sweetish but dry beer with a hint of strawberry in it, reminiscent of a Belgian beer nice
Hitachino Nest – Japanese Classic #Ale.
Lovely, dry mellow beer and very delicious
